Spontaneous Order

This title has nothing to do with my ironing basket. I can’t even think of a polar opposite that would be more appropriate but I do believe in the spontaneous order phenomenon. To me the core idea is that, left to ourselves, men and women are naturally harmonious and respectful. It describes the state in which we use our talents in service to the whole and thrive. Sadly such altruistic behaviour is a threat to those who depend on an artificial ‘divide and conquer’ mentality. It is so deeply ingrained in us that we consider it the norm and protest against the result rather than those shadowy figures pulling the strings.

There seems to be no area of our lives that is not subjected to an ‘us and them’ confrontation of ideas. In the last five years the situation has got worse to the point that ‘toxic masculinity’ is now used to emasculate nature and replace it with a pink or multicoloured politically correct alternative. Or that we are told that we must open our doors to the dispossessed from around the world and even entice them here with promises of milk and honey. It’s as though if enough liver cells turn up in the kidney they can pretend to be kidney cells. If we don’t nip off that idea ‘quicksmart’ we’ll soon end up very sick indeed.

So it is now reported that Ireland has 24% of its population born overseas. At the height of its growth, the USA – the ‘melting pot of the world’, had 17% of its people born abroad. This has not happened by accident. Our culture is under attack from those we trusted to defend us. It’s hard to understand how they have been so compromised that they are willing to sacrifice the future of their offspring and lie to themselves that diversity is the Holy Grail of aspirations. Grey is the new green.

I have been blessed to visit many countries of the world and to marvel at their cultures, food, geography and languages. I was always pleased to blend in and assimilate as much as possible. Today however, it is common for people who have never travelled to adopt an apologist approach for atrocities committed long ago and far away. That such events happened, such as the massacre at Amritsar, or even of Bloody Sunday in Derry, is truly sickening but cannot be undone by any amount of hand-wringing apologies. What is important is that we collectively learn from past mistakes and have the courage to confront wrongdoing in the present. Top and centre of these issues is the genocide in Gaza. Other issues abound such as attacks on religious affiliation, men ‘competing’ in women’s sports and the massive influx of foreign nationals into Western countries. We ought to be able to oppose such atrocities without being branded anti-semitic, homophobic or xenophobic.

Spontaneous Order is the natural outcome of self-respect and harmony among the peoples of the world. It seeks the highest expression of goodwill and the time-honoured desire to leave the world a better place for future generations. In so far as it applauds the sovereignty of every man and woman, it is threatening to those who have become accustomed to ‘calling the shots’.

The green shoots of freedom are now overwhelming the forces of tyranny that have sought domination and control for hundreds of years. Family members have become estranged, institutions unravelled and communities divided as the so-called ‘elites’ attempt to shore up and bolster their control of everyone and everything. But as time passes their attempts appear more and more desperate as men and women awaken to the reality of their freedom and plot a course for world peace. It’s now much more than a prepared answer in a beauty pageant. World Peace is the true destination of mankind; the logical result of Spontaneous Order.
