Boolean Relationship

 

Around the age of 16 our maths class was introduced to Boolean Algebra as the logic used in machine computation. It had its own weird rules like 1 + 1 = 1 and 1 +  0 = 0 and there was no such thing as 2 or anything higher, so it was odd but how hard could it be?

 

Many years later I read the wonderful ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ by Stephen Covey, which describes the process of maturation as firstly a journey from Dependence in childhood, to Independence achieved in early adulthood. Secondly we transition from Independence to Interdependence as we realise that as a team we can achieve more together than we can as individuals. For both of these journey phases Covey describes three rules and his rule 7 – ‘Sharpen the Saw’ is basically an instruction to start again. Life is a school with as many classes as we have years and sometimes we ‘get kept back a year’ when we’ve struggled with the lessons. Each student has an individualized curriculum.

 

By midlife everyone has had some form of relationship and has accumulated unique experiences that provide learning material for our brief time on earth. For most people this will be a mixture of good and bad, happy or sad and our memories of these moments build the scrap book of our lives. Us humans have an exquisite ability to learn, not only to count but to feel. Unlike any machine we have both logic and emotion. In an ideal situation 1 + 1 = 2 (and sometimes 1 + 1 = 3) but inevitably, through the various facets of life we have situations when 1 + 1 is less than 2 as neither party had truly reached 1 to begin with.

 

Back in the 1980s Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator movies told of a future time when mankind would face an existential threat as it clashed with machines that thought themselves superior to humans. Now in 2021 certain ‘Masters of The Universe’ figures believe that everyone should conform to their vision of the future. As we’re already seeing in Australia, great brutality is being used to suppress dissent as normal human beings attempt to go about their daily lives in what they thought was a democracy.

 

In ‘Covid-19: The Great Reset’ Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum dismisses such trials as necessary birthing pains for his New World Order where the world will ‘Build Back Better’ and order themselves by ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. In this Technocratic dystopia energy is king, carbon is to be scrubbed and stored / buried. As things are shaping up it appears that we’re the carbon that is to be removed. Those of us who can already feel the bars of the cage are ridiculed as conspiracy theorists as we try to awaken our fellow travelers to the fact that the cage door is rapidly closing.

 

A time of great tribulation approaches, but because of our unique human ability to feel love we are superior to any machine that must be limited to a Boolean Relationship devoid of growth. Because in the world of machines 1 + 1 can never be more than 1, they can never achieve Covey style Interdependence. Indeed, through their need to dominate everyone or everything, the very rules that govern their existence require that they eventually tear themselves apart. At best they are destined to ‘Sharpen the Saw’ and start again as they have throughout the ages but they can never count to 2; not even if you’re Bill Gates.

 

God is Love. God wins. We have nothing to fear – certainly not a virus no matter how cleverly designed.

Titanic - A parable for our times?

Everyone knows the story of the Titanic; the unsinkable ship that went down on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, 15^th April 1912, with the loss of 1,503 passengers and crew; approximately two thirds of the people on board. Fewer people are aware of the book written 14 years earlier titled – ‘The futility of the wreck of the Titan’ by Morgan Robertson, 1898. This fictional novel told of the ship Titan, which also sank in the North Atlantic and didn’t have enough lifeboats on board for its passengers. The Titanic had lifeboat places for only 1,100 yet there were only 712 survivors because many of the boats were not full. It’s easy to imagine an almighty bun-fight breaking out as panic set in but it seems the evacuation was actually quite orderly in a “Steady as she sinks” sort of way. There are also many stories of heroism and of bands playing to the end, as well as the fictional stewards rearranging deckchairs.

More contemporary reading such as Orwell’s ‘1984’ and Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ were enjoyed in my teens as ripping yarns. Such a dystopian future was unimaginable – until today. Several of today’s arch villains, like Bill Gates, Ray Kurzweil and Klaus Schwab have also written accounts of the world they want to manifest. But they seem to prefer the company of human hybrid machines connected by Artificial Intelligence than of real flesh and blood people.  Unchallenged and undebated these Masters of the Universe have decided what’s best for the rest of us and are currently going all out to complete their plans before humanity awakens to the threat. Of course, as with the Titanic, a great many souls will be lost. There were no ‘lifeboats’ (vaxxine exemptions) for them. And despite there notionally being roles for the obedient civil servants managing or policing the current chaos the truth is that with two thirds of the planet’s population gone they’ll then be surplus to requirement; hence some available lifeboat places will go unused.

So what do the Davos Class have in mind for us? The by now obvious play is complete totalitarian enslavement of humanity, herded and controlled by an international grid monitoring every movement and purchase. Rewards must be earned by strict compliance to every urge of the hive mind including ratting out on misfit friends and family Stasi style for having the audacity to think critically. These ‘domestic terrorists’ pose a threat to a Cabal hell-bent on destruction and must be dragged off to camps for re-education or elimination. Change must be thrust upon them and if necessary they must sink or swim.

More importantly what do these misfits have in mind for themselves? Nothing short of heaven on earth actually  –

Totally Organic Foodstuffs and real food. Natural medicine with herbs, seeds and tubers, clean air and water. Total freedom of Speech, Association and Travel. Harmonious self-sufficient communities living in Honour by their own law. Utilising the best technologies for carbon-free power and heat generation. Healing our soils and water tables by removing centuries of toxins. Genuine education that develops natural talents and protects nature while respecting intergenerational wisdom. Global Unity Consciousness. When we choose to change we are limited only by our imagination.

After the Titanic disaster lifeboat capacity was determined by passenger numbers rather than ship tonnage. When our ‘new normal’ arrives it will provide for the best expression of human potential rather than brutal suppression of the many for the benefit of the few.
