The Technocracy movement began in Columbia University, New York in 1932. From the outset. Its core belief was that scientists, engineers and bureaucrats could design a societal control system superior to anything that could be conceived of by politicians. They used phrases like Strategic Development Goals and Social Engineering interchangeably and so began a process of selling to the population that only the scientific method had any real credibility and that science alone was capable of solving the world’s problems. They never wanted to be thought of as a political movement; quite the contrary, they often referred to politicians as ‘Useful Idiots’, recognizing that politicians could introduce and enforce favourable legislation and so were useful until expendable.
So then, hypothetically, what would a utopian Technocratic world look like? Well first of all thinking should be constrained within permissible bounds so we’d need tight control of the media. That way we could bring to fruition the dictator’s maxim – ‘When I want your opinion, I’ll tell you what it is’. Secondly we’d want to ensure compliance to the measures necessary to force a great reset so that we could ‘build back better’. Thus we’d need to create a climate of fearful hysteria – preferably one in which ‘the man in the street’ would enforce whatever measures we chose to keep the population destabilized. This was explained to the world by Joseph Goebbels at Nuremberg and which was maintained by the Stazi of East Germany during the Cold War.
Next we’ll need a bogeyman like a constantly mutating virus. That will keep scientists very busy cooking up remedies that will deepen public dependency on the state and have them clambering for a remedy. It’s important at this point to play down any factors such as nutrition and immune system enhancement as nothing should be allowed to detract from the perception of heroic scientists saving the day – this logically feeds into the developing narrative that only scientists and engineers are fit to make important decisions and we’ll be delighted to roll up our sleeves to take part in their experiments.
Now we want a means of monitoring and control. People need to become accustomed to being ‘protected’ by sharing data on their personal movements. We’ll ban any public gatherings and debate, close down all ‘non-essential’ businesses, as and when, but put in place a ‘Track and Trace’ policy and insist that people give details in any restaurant where they eat. Eventually this will give way to automatic monitoring via mobile phone and facial recognition systems. People will gladly provide these details when they believe it’s necessary to protect them from the bogeyman and in the belief that such intrusions will help society ‘return to normal’.
We’ll need a very high capacity radio data system to allow tracking in dense urban environments and to allow expansion of system capability as we introduce surveillance upgrades such as real time biometric data. To ensure that we have full planetary coverage we’ll need a constellation of satellites. I know, let’s create a new ‘Space Force’, give them stupid amounts of money to do whatever they want as long as they erect a global surveillance net connected in with the new terrestrial 5G networks. And in the same way we abandon safety testing for the toxic concoction we tell people they need injected into them, we’ll turn a blind eye to the massive increase in electromagnetic energy in their environment that disrupts their biology and immune systems. Along the way Elon Musk, through Spacex, will become outrageously wealthy but that will allow him to invest more in Neurolink and usher in the era of Transhumanism.
We’re nearly there now. All we need is to turn off the world’s economy as we’ve known it and replace it with a fully electronic cash-free operating system. The ‘Petrodollar’ is so 20th century; let’s talk ‘Crypto’. We’ll start by scaring everyone into thinking their filthy lucre is just filthy and encourage them to make cashless payments for everything. We’ll use this period to train our AI systems to amass information on spending patterns and to spot anything unusual. It’s tough on the busker in the street, no sorry, I forgot, we’ve already eliminated the idea that anyone can sing in public or that others can gather to watch. So when cash is finally gone and only the crypto-classes remain, we’ll train them to obey by docking B100 from their UBI account for crossing the street in the middle of the night when the roads are deserted. That will teach them that their UBI account can be erased completely by the AI algorithm if they dare to object to whatever we next choose to impose. Think how much time and effort will be saved when the court system is redundant and we don’t need wigs and robes debating over what we’ve decided. We’ll say who stays on the family farm, what they grow and how they feed their livestock.
So have I covered the bases? – Media, Pharma, Telecoms, Military and Banking – yes, pretty much, well that should take it as far as we mere humans need it to go. Hereafter the machines, their algorithms and the ‘Hive Mind’ will write the script.
