Few of us are immune to the energy zapping effect of fear; it’s truly crippling! At a fundamental level we want to believe that what we’re told on the TV is true and that ‘grown ups’ wouldn’t lie to us. This trust in authority is, according to Larken Rose, perhaps the most deadly myth and is used to propagandise us and keep us scared and compliant. We need a way to ‘turn the lights on’ or ‘peek under the bed’ in order to sleep easy.
My way of doing so is to speak up and condemn the assault of blatant nonsense on our common sense. Tell it as it is – there are only two sexes and only women can have babies; that the BBC tell lies, that covid was a rebranded flu, that poor lifestyles leave us vulnerable to disease, that Western economies are being systematically destroyed, that the conflict in the Ukraine has nothing to do with democracy, that genocide is underway in Gaza and that the climate crisis is a hoax. What did I leave out? – probably a compliment for Jacinda Ardern, Bill Gates or Klaus Schwab – or a dozen other untouchables.
Having such ideas today is unfashionable and likely to get worse – even criminal. The Thought Police are fast becoming a reality. Censorship is now the norm. I learned today that self-censorship is now expected on YouTube and that they now offer a training course to ensure that contributors don’t fall foul of the ‘community guidelines’. Already too many of us have cowered in the face of absurdity and accept that black is the new white. This assault is relentless and seems to get more vicious as time passes. I’ve often felt that my ideas haven’t changed, popular culture has. The tide went out and left me feeling like I’m suffering from terminal ‘oldfartitis’.
Earlier today I watched a documentary explanation of the contamination of Lough Neagh by deadly green – blue algae. Multiple insults over the last 50 years have contributed to the destruction of Ireland’s largest lake; such that even if the insults were stopped today, it would probably take 40 years for nature to recover. No one group is to blame, but the common denominator among all is greed. It’s easier to accept non-optimum / low cost solutions to pollution in order to ‘grow the economy’ and pocket more cash.
The documentary reminded me of the deliberate long-term planning of the Rockefeller family to destroy society and establish their New World Order. No one change can claim credit for the destruction of society, but the cumulative effect is nihilistic and irretrievable in 40 years. We’re not going back to the good old days; we’re going forward to the good new days.
The documentary narrator described the lethal nature of the shoreline sludge and sadly we’re now facing a parallel danger from inadequately tested pharmaceuticals. But with the right intentions and a clear vision of the abundant future that awaits us we can swap out Rockefeller fear porn for the life-giving certainty that evil will be defeated. Let’s turn on the lights.
